Please keep in mind that automatic payments are processed through a third-party payment processing company. Monument Sanitation District does not offer the option to set up automatic payments directly. The decision to use a third-party payment processor is entirely at your discretion.
Accounts cannot be transferred into the name of a tenant. All accounts must remain in the name of the property owner, who is ultimately responsible for all charges, payments, fees, and account activity associated with the property.
Monthly statements are not available through the website. Statements are provided either by mail or email, depending on your selected delivery method. No other delivery options are available. Please refer to your monthly statement for your current balance and any amount due.
Payments are due by the 15th of each month. Payments received after the due date will be assessed a $5.00 late fee.
Each year, customers are notified by letter and/or email of discussions regarding a potential rate increase. If a rate increase is approved, a notification letter will be included with your monthly statement before the new rate takes effect. Customers who utilize automatic payments through a third-party payment processor are responsible for updating their payment amount to reflect any approved rate increase. Failure to update the automatic payment amount may result in an underpayment and the assessment of applicable late fees.
